About

Hi, I’m Jackie.  I used to define myself by my role and/or my career…I’m a single mom to one boy man (good grief…where did the time go?) and a Registered Nurse.

I’m changing that starting NOW!

Hi, I’m Jackie…a beloved child of the most High God and I am called by my Father to live my life as such.  I know my identity in Christ and my position in His Kingdom; the Kingdom of Heaven.  I may still be in this world but I am no longer of this world.  I choose to keep my eyes on Jesus: my Savior, my Redeemer, my King…my LOVE.  He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords and I want my life to reflect that.

It’s a process…

I am turning 50 in a couple of weeks and embarking on a new journey.  I’m still learning the Word of God and how to apply it to my life.  I’m learning that what He has for me and you and wants for us is way more than we could ever imagine.  I have surrendered my will to Him and ask Him continually to open my eyes to all He wants me to see, to open my ears to all He wants me to hear and to continue to soften my heart and make it open and receptive to His call.  In the process of this prayer over the past 2 years, He is bringing me into what I believe to be my destiny…missions.

For now, I’m giving up my nursing career to commit a year of my life to a mission field right here in the USA.  I will give more information about that in a future post…but in the meantime, I’d like to invite you to follow me during this journey as I ask the Lord to guide my steps; as I seek a deeper relationship with God through sacrificial giving and learning to depend on Him for all of my needs; and as I knock on the door of humility, peace, joy, and most of all LOVE.
